ENUGU PDP ELECT NEW WORKING COMMITTEE AT DELEGATE CONGRESS
Enugu State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party,has elected members of the new State Working Committee, with most of the members of the previous executive, re-elected, to pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.
Although it was observed that there was one aspirant for each of the positions indicating unopposed status, votes were duly cast by the delegates, in order of local government areas as arranged by the electoral panel and in line with the party’s rules and regulations.
At the party’s quadrennial delegate Congress held at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, Augustine Nnamani, Innocent Ezeoha and Cletus Akalusi, were re-elected chairman, deputy chairman and Secretary, just as Michael Onyeze and Okey Ozoani, retained the position of Zonal Chairman for Enugu North and Enugu West, while a new name, Nnamdi Nwafor, emerged as the Zonal Chairman for Enugu East Senatorial district.

Sam Udekwe is a journalist working in the News and Current Affairs department, Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS) Enugu. He is well trained in all genres of journalistic venture.
Mr Sam read Mass Communication, graduating all with Distinction in National Diploma, Higher National Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma at IMT, Enugu and Madonna University, Okija, Anambra state, while he is presently on his M.Sc programme also in Mass Communication, at National Open University of Nigeria.
He is currently the NUJ Chairman, Enugu state.
