Enugu state government has approved an initial sum of five hundred million naira for disbursement to farmers in the state, under the World Bank-assisted COVID-19 Action Recovery Economic Stimulus, CARES Programme phase one.
Leader of the CARES team in the state and commissioner for finance and economic development, Adaonah Kene-Uyanwune, disclosed this after the team’s meeting with the chairman of the state COVID-19 emergency and palliative committee and deputy governor of the state, Cecilia Ezeilo.
