Constitution Review:ALGON Strengthens Demand For End To State, LG Joint Account
Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, has demanded increase in the allocation to the local governments, to 35.5%, while advocating the abrogation of the state and local government joint account, to strengthen the third tier government.
This was part of the resolutions reached at a strategic national executive council meeting of ALGON held in Enugu.
