Palliatives: Royal Father Hails Governor Mbah, Deputy For Transparency
A Royal Father from Umuokara Orba autonomous community in Udenu local government area of Enugu State, Igwe Dr George Nwankwo Eze has applauded Governor Peter Mbah and his Deputy, Ifeanyi Ossai in the way and manner the palliatives were distributed.
Igwe Nwankwo Eze said this in an interview with press men in the Govt house after a Courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor in His Office at the Government House,in company of some of his cabinet members.
He noted that Governor Mbah and his Deputy know the expectations of their people and were equal to the task. He stated that the good people of Enugu were behind them while carrying out their legitimate duties.
The royal father who said he was overwhelmed by the criteria of the distribution of the palliatives said that it was a humanitarian exercise to alleviate the sufferings of the people, especially the downtrodden which he said were praying for God’s guidance for the Governor, and his deputy in their effort to minimise the sufferings of the people through this palliative.
Igwe Nwankwo Eze also commended the Federal Government for initiating the palliative programme before spreading to other states with Enugu as the first state that started the implementation of the palliative. He applauded the Deputy Governor who is the chairman of the palliative committee for spearheading the programme and ensuring that Justice is done.
The high point was the presentation of gift to the Deputy Governor, Ifeanyi Ossai whom the Royal Father described as a “good will message which symbolises who he is.”
