Governor Mbah assented to the 2024 fiscal appropriation law at the Executive Chamber of the Enugu State Government House.

The budget’s focal points highlights the government’s commitment to spending over 400 billion Naira on capital projects.
Governor Mbah notably stressed the “distinctive aspect of relying on domestic revenue mobilization, steering clear of extensive borrowing”.
In the inaugural full-year budget circle, the new administration set out to make historic investments in critical sectors such as schools, hospitals, and roads infrastructure.
Governor Mbah expressed optimism that these investments would bridge gaps in social welfare services.
