Police Magnanimity: Enugu DPO Provides Succour To Widows Of Deceased Inspectors

The newly appointed Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of New Haven Police Division Enugu, SP Chijioke Ogbodo on Sunday, February 11, 2024, presented food items and cash sums of money to the widows of Late Inspector Tony Mpiawu, Late Inspector Joseph Idoko and Late Inspector Onyema lgwe who before their untimely death, were attached to the New Haven Police Division Enugu.
The trio were killed while on active duty at New Haven, Enugu on the 6th day of September 2022.
SP Ogbodo who was not the DPO of the Division at the time of the ugly incident, but assumed the office in October 2023, was however touched by the plight of the widows and their families and decided to assist them especially at these difficult times.
He demonstrated the large heart to the three widows at the New Haven Divisional Police station where he made the food items and cash available to them.
