Gov. Mbah Approves #80,000 Naira Minimum Wage
Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has approved eighty thousand naira (#80,000) minimum wage for workers of the state.
This is ten thousand naira higher than the national minimum wage of (#70,000)seventy thousand naira.
This followed the submission of report by the negotiating committee for the minimum wage led by the state chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Fabian Nwigbo.
Implementation commences effect from October.
