APC Chairman Reawakens Party Faithful For 2027 Victory In Enugu
In a significant show of commitment and leadership, Mr Levi Aniamalu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu East Local Government Area, has urged the party faithful in the area to remain focused in pursuit of victory for the party in the next electoral cycle.
Speaking during a meeting of the party at Iji Nike on Sunday, Mr Aniamalu assured them that the leadership narrative in Enugu state would change in favour of APC noting that “it’s no longer going to be business as usual, because the leadership of APC in the state has grown stronger than ever”.
He underscored that “this victory is not merely a possibility but a goal that the party is actively working towards”.
“We are strategising and mobilising our resources effectively to ensure that Enugu state is this time around, under the APC,” he proclaimed, drawing applause from party members.
Aniamalu emphasised the importance of unity within the APC ranks and called on members to put aside personal grievances and focus on the collective goal of electoral success. “Our strength lies in our unity; let us work hand in hand to present a formidable front,” he urged, encouraging them to maintain the collaborative spirit existing in the party.
The chairman outlined a roadmap for the party’s activities leading up to the elections. This plan includes grassroots mobilisation, community outreach programmes, and initiatives aimed at increasing voter registration. He emphasised the need for party members to engage with the electorate, addressing their needs and concerns to build trust and support for the APC.
He stressed the importance of choosing individuals who resonate with the values and aspirations of the people of Enugu State in the recruitment process.
“We must ensure that our candidates are not only popular but also capable of delivering on the promises made to the electorate,” he stated, signaling that the party will prioritise transparency and integrity in the selection process.
Recognising the obstacles that lie ahead, the chairman noted the importance of tackling prevailing issues such as youth unemployment, infrastructure deficits, and security concerns and encouraged party members to be proactive in proposing solutions and be seen as agents of change in their communities.
“Every member has a role to play in this journey towards reclaiming Enugu State,” he remarked, rallying the attendees to embrace the challenges ahead with optimism and vigor.
The chairman welcomed defectors from other political parties, noting that “the party is open to more defectors to join and make the party greater”.
The meeting served as a rallying point for members to galvanise support for the APC’s ambitions in Enugu State, while the chairman’s firm promise of victory in the 2027 elections, coupled with calls for unity, strategic planning, and active engagement with the community, set a determined tone within the local APC chapter.
