BREAKING:ADC Top Leadership Controversy Relaxes
…As INEC Publishes Names Of Authentic National Chair, Scribe
After weeks of controversies, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has uploaded the names of members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, National Working Committee, NWC.
The updated list contains Senator David Mark as the National Chairman of the party.
The Commission also uploaded the name of former Osun governor, Rauf Aregbesola as the party’s National Secretary.
A check by our correspondent on the INEC platform Wednesday afternoon showed the latest update.
Days ago, the commission had stated that the delay in accepting the list sent by the ADC NEC was owing to non provision of certain information, including specimen signatures.
However, the ADC later confirmed that all the required information had been provided.
With the latest development, the earlier setback which confronted the opposition coalition appears over.
