Enugu-born Student Wins Best Undergraduate Award at Hungary’s Széchenyi István University

A Nigerian student at Széchenyi István University, Hungary, Chuma Chiamaka Juliet from Enugu State, has been honoured with the Best Undergraduate Student Award, emerging as the top recipient among African students studying in Europe.

Presenting her certificate at the university, the Enugu-born student described the recognition as deeply meaningful, noting that it has significantly boosted her self-confidence and strengthened her resolve to pursue an ambitious academic and professional path.

According to her, the award has further inspired her to engage in scholarly research through the Scientific Students’ Association (TDK) in the current semester. Her proposed research will focus on south-eastern Nigeria, with particular attention to the history of the Igbo people and their long-standing exclusion from Nigeria’s presidency.
