Breaking: Senator Ikeje Asogwa Appoints Special Adviser on Youth Mobilisation and Empowerment
Barely days after announcing the appointment of 11 aides, followed by six Special Advisers and 24 Executive Assistants, the Senator representing Enugu North Senatorial District, Senator Ikeje Asogwa, has approved another strategic appointment aimed at strengthening his constituency engagement and governance structure.
The latest appointment is that of Hon. Chidi Concord Yakubu, popularly known as “Igede”, who has been named Special Adviser on Youth Mobilisation and Empowerment.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Media, Publicity and Communication to the Senator, Hon. Samson Ezea, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement explained that the appointment forms part of Senator Asogwa’s broader commitment to providing quality representation, fostering inclusive governance and enhancing effective service delivery across the six local government areas that make up the Enugu North Senatorial District.
It noted that the creation of the office underscores the Senator’s resolve to deepen youth participation in governance, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and expand empowerment opportunities for young people within the district.
Hon. Chidi Concord Yakubu is expected to coordinate youth mobilisation initiatives, facilitate youth-focused programmes and serve as a key liaison between the Senator and youth stakeholders across the Enugu North Senatorial District.
