Christians Asked To Stick To God’s Commandments As Pathway To Heaven
Founder/President of Ascension Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Apostle Godwin Nwoye has charged Christians to always keep the commandments of God as their pathways to heaven.
Apostle Nwoye gave the charge during the dedication of new building of Chrit Ascension Church, Nike Lake Road Abakpa Nike Enugu.
He observed that the much sought earthly gains are added unto the fortunes of the children of God and asked Christians to “be dedicated to the service of God and humanity”.
The centenarian committed the church onto the lane of spiritual and physical growth while praying God to grant the adherents the strength of faith to sustain their journey to the desired place of God’s ultimate favour.
“All the people who are partaking in the building of the new church the Lord is going to pay you back for your services”, Apostle Nwoye prayed.
In her remarks, the minister in charge of Christ Ascension Church Nike Lake Road, Prophetess Ifeoma Nweke acknowledged the spiritual nurture they had continued to enjoy from the Founder of church, Apostle Nwoye and thanked God for the grace.
Prophetess Nweke urged members of the church to remain steadfast in their service to God while emulating the uprightness and humility of their spiritual father who founded the church, to earn them the grace of prosperity and long life.
The founder of the Ascension Church used the occasion to announce the promotion of the minister of God, Prophetess Ifeoma Nweke from District Prophetess to Assistant Area Prophetess, while three members of the Church, including a centenarian, Elder Edwin Onu received awards of excellence for their outstanding services.
