NLC Pickets EEDC In Enugu
The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Monday stormed the office of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC and headquarters of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, in Enugu to register the people’s grievances over the current hardship aggravated by power sector through hiked tarrifs and epileptic power supply.
Led by the NLC chairman in Enugu State, Comrade Fabian Nwigbo, the Congress vowed to push forth until everything is normalised in the power sector.
The picketing continues tomorrow against NERC and all critical stakeholders in the sector.
