The Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) has reminded all allottees and property owners across its estates that the Revalidation of Title Documents and Update of Property Records is currently ongoing.
The exercise, which commenced on Monday, September 15, 2025, in line with the directives of the Enugu State Government, will run until Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The Corporation has reiterated that only duly revalidated documents will be recognized thereafter, urging property owners to take advantage of the window to regularize their records.
According to the General Manager of ESHDC, Dr Gerald Asogwa, the revalidation process is aimed at ensuring proper documentation, enhancing service delivery, and maintaining accurate property records, thereby fostering greater transparency and efficiency in housing administration across the state.
Property owners are expected to complete the process at any of the designated centres within Enugu State, which include the ESHDC Headquarters, No. 21 Kingsway Road, GRA, Enugu; Palm Beach Estate Office, Obukpa Layout, Nsukka; Enugu South LGA Secretariat, Uwani; Enugu North LGA Secretariat, Enugu Municipal Complex; Enugu East LGA Secretariat, Nkwo Nike; International Conference Centre (ICC), Independence Layout, Enugu; Polo Shopping Mall, GRA, Enugu; and Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Arrival Lounge, Enugu.
For ease of access, additional centres have also been opened outside Enugu State. These include Abuja Desk Offices (Utako and Wuse 2), Anambra State Desk Office in Awka, and Lagos Desk Office in Ikeja.
To complete the exercise, property owners are required to present the following: a functional email address, allocation letter, consent letter(s) where applicable (if the current owner is not the original allottee), all receipts of payment, a valid identity card, and any other relevant documents relating to their property.
