State Of The Nation: Southern State Governors Call For Urgent National Dialogue, Ban Open Grazing
Governors of the Southern states of Nigeria have reached a resolution, calling on the Federal Government to, as a matter of urgency, convoke a national dialogue as a forum for addressing the various issues of agitation and rising cases of insecurity in the country.
In a 12-point COMMUNIQUE read by the chairman of the Southern Governors Forum and Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, the governors also reached a resolution, banning open grazing of cattle across the Southern part of the country, including cattle movement to the South on foot.
