Matters Arising from Sponsorship of Enugu North Mega Endorsement Rally
It has come to our attention that certain meddlesome interlopers, social media miscreants, and their paymasters are circulating a fictitious list of alleged donors and sponsors of the just-concluded, successful, and hitch-free Enugu North Mega Endorsement Rally, yet another desperate attempt at blackmail, mudslinging, and a campaign of calumny.
We state categorically and without ambiguity: we, the leaders, stakeholders, and committed supporters of Peter Mbah and Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Enugu North Senatorial Zone, conceived, planned, and fully sponsored this mega rally. We were joined by thousands of genuine, peace-loving people of the zone who have witnessed and benefited from the tangible developmental strides of both administrations, and who turned out en masse to endorse them for a second term.
We did so willingly, wholeheartedly and proudly, deploying our hard-earned resources, time, and energy, unapologetically and without regard to whose interests are bruised.
Let it be known: we are prepared, resolute, and fully mobilized to do even more in the forthcoming elections to secure their victory and that of other progressive candidates, if necessary.
We are not oblivious of the activities of a handful of sponsored skeptics, cynics, and political merchants of mischief who failed woefully in their bid to sabotage the rally.
Their current resort to falsehood, propaganda, and fabrication only exposes their frustration and irrelevance.
We therefore urge the public to disregard these baseless claims and the purveyors behind them. The success of the Enugu North Mega Endorsement Rally stands as a testament to the genuine support and unity of our people, something no amount of propaganda can diminish.
Finally, we express our profound gratitude to the good people of Enugu North Senatorial Zone, as well as friends, well-wishers, and supporters from other zones who stood with us in solidarity and conviction. Your support remains our strength, and we do not take it for granted.
We remain deeply appreciative and steadfast in our collective resolve.
